Description

Get that Baneblade running, Techpriest! Otherwise, you'll be the one I'll get running to the firing line!  - The General, getting ready to battle.
This system is MINE. Do you hear me? The first non-imperial ship to approach within thousands miles from here will have its crew buried in ordnance! - The General, during the Victory parade that followed his successful conquest of the system.

Introduction:

General of the 1st Cyclonian Armored Corp Imperial Guard Regiment, Governor of the Cyclonian system (made of Cyclonia I,II,III,IV and V) and still-in-charge Baneblade Commander within his regiment, Jeremiah, nicknamed the "Necron crusher" or the "one-eyed male reaper" , may be one of the most aggressive, relentless and yet meticulous commander an Imperial Guard regiment has been led by, so far.
Having forged his spirit and personality in the muddy trenches of the world of Krieg during the numerous wars the planet had to go through, as a Captain within the Death Korps of Krieg ( warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/De… ), soon has he proved his skills as a valiant commander, whose competence was no longer to prove among the squads he led.
Even sooner, the future General would express his respect and adoration for mechanized battalions. He had swore to himself that, one day, he would get to drive of those armored monster. No, better, he would lead a WHOLE division full of them!
Scarcely had he planned so, his skills as an infantrymen , and later, as a tankist, got him noticed by high-members of the Adeptus Mechanicus cult.
Later on, through hard training and studies, he was able to become a commander of a tank he always dreamed of driving : The Baneblade. 11 barrels of living hell, under his command. He would soon personalize him, with the full respect of Imperial policies. His dream came true, but he wanted more.
And more would be granted to him as a detachment of various IG regiments (mainly Death Korps units) were sent over to the freshly-discovered Cyclonia system, whose first discovery was the incoming danger of an awakened Necron tombworld...
First declared as a "lost" system  Jeremiah and many of the men he had governed thought otherwise, and would soon push their superiors into trying to invade this system, in the name of the Imperium, for the Emperor's will. The enthusiasm and the optimism of the men would soon cause the beginning of a large-scale war, through which the young Jeremiah would finally be able to do his baptism of fire. It is never a bad thing to want to sacrifice yourself for the God-Emperor.
In need of an experimented Baneblade commander that would lead a newly sent ready-to-fight shipment of Super-Heavy tanks to battle so as to break through Necron defenses as quick as possible onground, Jeremiah was named as such, and his office taking marked the beginning of the Cyclonia War.
Scarcely had the war "officially" started, the regiments stationed in orbit around Cyclonia I noticed something missing: Someone to represent them all, to unify all of them under a single banner, a single meaning, a single way. Someone to guide them all in that bloody war that had just started... By an overwhelming majority, Jeremiah now became the "Lord General" and "Strategic Director" of this operation.
At the hearing of this, his words were:

Soldiers and servants of outer worlds, today, you have made a choice, and I will be the man to prove you you made the right one. Today, will be the beginning of an endless glory, and the beginning of the end for anything and anyone daring to oppose us. Today, I proclaim the birth of a new regiment. We are the 1st Cyclonian Armored Corp, and defeat is not an option. His will be done, the Emperor's will shall be made real. Make yourselves ready men, and grab these new Battle suits I've prepared you. Today will mark the beginning of our victorious campaign!

His main strategies:

FIRE RAIN:

The general aligns as many artillery pieces as he can (he has a particular affection for Manticores, and, in emergency cases, Deathstrike missile launchers, although he would over use Basilisk earthshaker platforms, and Magnuses), alongside the largest bombers Squadron he can (mainly made of Marauder Bombers), and starts by DEVASTATING the enemy's moral and organization, through powerful, non-periodic and insanely intensive artillery/carpet-bombing strikes.

If I can't hear them explode from here, you're not firing enough shell! Remember men, FIRST, call in the rockets, because they're the noisiest and this will make them go outside to see what happens. Then, call in the Basilisks and their earthshaker rounds! IT'S RAINING FIRE!

Advancing Fist:

That's when the General himself, accompanied by the armored fist of his regiment, pierce through enemy lines with devastating shots, as the infantry, covered by the tanks, eliminate the few survivors that could have hid.
Note that The General , with the authorization of the cult, modernized his Baneblade by allowing it to scarify its mobility to shot Demolisher shells at an astonishing rate, making his "Masterful breakthrough" strategy even more efficient where he's at. He also calls it "masterful", because it "always work".
You get it... HE LOVES TANKS. TANKS, MOTHERFUCKING TANKS, AND EXPLOSIONS.

The Afterwar

After cleansing the entire System (the Cyclonia war is the conflict during which the general unfortunately lost an eye to a Necron Warrior which amazingly managed to get in his Baneblade...), Jeremiah made it an industrial paradise, a place dedicated to the Armored Fist of the Emperor, and thus providing the system industrial areas in which Mars Pattern command center could produce Baneblades and Stormswords, making the 1st Cyclonian regiment in charge of the defense of the system part of the few regiments that could actually align one entire Baneblade division.
He would soon proclaim himself as the Governor of the system, and build statues and monuments in glory of the Emperor and his own past military successes. His regiment was the best, and he knew he was the best servant of the Emperor, and anyone daring otherwise, was a candidate for the sights of his tank.
