The Powerpuff Girls are OVERRATED HEROES !

After the troll journal, here is a serious one.

Disclaimer : This is neither an attack nor a provocation coming from me. I still like the show and its characters and always will.


Throughout the years, the Powerpuff Girls has become OVERRATED, if not OVERPOWERED super heroes. Why ?

Call me macho/sexist/fascist/nostalgia tard or whatever you want, but ...

If any of you, by the past, encountered 3 little girls, as powered as they might be, being better heroes than an army of 25 superheroes (AWSM episode), being better than a 230 cm high elvis-haired Super-Man like Superhero (Major Man), being better than both Wonder woman and Super Man (yes yes it happened in a commercial, not very relevant but it still shows pretty well the spirit of the show) ... Please, make sure to give me a call.


What I don't like in this show is how they portray and make fun of ANY comic-stylized superhero (from Major Man to Major Glory through the "SUper Zeroes" episode in which they mocked with many other superheroes, such as Wonder Woman (again)...)

As a purist, I really dislike to have my favorite superheroes portrayed as immature jackasses, and being replaced by 3 5 years old little girls who should be playing with dolls rather than trying to save the town, although I should admit that the humor is somehow neat, I'd expect a bit more seriousness coming from them.

Major Man => Some kind of Major Glory/Super Man, but with a difference : Of course, as awesome as he might be, the creators made sure that he'll be unable to defeat a ridiculous monster.

Captain Righteous and Lefty => Old fucks.

Major Glory and his friends => Portrayed as incompetents, immature and macho idiots, whereas of course, the Powerpuff Girls are PERFECT, as always.

Liberty Belle, Mange and Harmony Bunny => Poor parodies.

I mean, come on, how in the world can you compare Super Man, Wonder Woman and the good old classic superheroes to them ?


This is just pathetic and this really angers me.
